Innovative Roller Curtain Design
The heart of our insulated roller shutter lies in its curtain design. Crafted from 95 mm deep insulated laminated coated steel laths, the curtain boasts exceptional durability and energy efficiency. Each lath is injected with CFC-free polyurethane foam, offering outstanding insulation properties. The exterior surface features three grooves, enhancing both structural integrity and visual aesthetics. Nylon endlocks secure alternate laths in place, reinforced by robust steel rivets. With a range of stock colours available, you can effortlessly match the shutter to your design preferences.
Components for Optimal Performance
Bottom Rail: The heavy-duty extruded aluminium bottom rail is equipped with an air cushion rubber strip, ensuring smooth operation and a secure seal when closed.
Headseal: To guarantee airtightness, a choice of 100mm or 150mm nylon brush strip can be affixed to the lintel’s underside, effectively sealing the gap between the lintel and the shutter curtain.
Side Guides and Angles: Specially designed galvanised guide sections with vertical brush seals ensure a snug fit and prevent energy leakage. Galvanised steel angles provide structural support and secure installation.
Electric Operation
Paired with a Safedrive motor unit, our foam filled roller shutters guarantee both safety and reliability. Thoughtfully designed endplates ranging from 6mm to 10mm in thickness feature cleats for secure attachment. Our diverse electric motor range, including 415-volt 3-phase options cater to various needs and are easily controlled by a user friendly push-button station.
High Quality Finish
The insulated curtain showcases a premium PVC laminate finish with anti-scratch properties on both sides, available in a selection of standard colours. Galvanised or powder-coated guides, angles, and endplates offer durability and visual appeal. Enhance your system further with optional coil casings, facias, and motor covers, while double-glazed Perspex windows can be added for functionality and charm at a nominal fee.
