Comprehensive Roller Shutter Inspection & Maintenance Overview
As part of our comprehensive Roller Shutter Service, our engineers carry out a detailed inspection and maintenance of every critical component. The curtain is checked for signs of corrosion, the condition and secure fitting of end locks or hinges are verified, and the bottom rail or sectional panels are closely inspected. We also ensure that the top lath is securely fixed to the barrel and that the curtain coils evenly. Moving to the guides and angles, we check for corrosion, confirm that all structural fixings are secure, and lubricate the guides if required. The bracket plates are examined to ensure secure mounting, while support cups, bearings, and the drive system are thoroughly assessed for integrity. On the barrel, we inspect for damage or wear, confirm that support blocks are in place, check the spring tension, and lubricate moving parts as needed, including testing the safety brake where fitted. Lastly, the motor is examined for secure attachment to its brackets, signs of oil leaks, and accurate limit settings. We also test the manual override and check all interlocks to ensure smooth, safe operation.
